Fireclay brick description
Fireclay brick have good thermal shock resistance and its fluctuation range is big that is generally more than 10 times(1100 in cold water).Fireclay brick belongs to weak acid refractory products, which acid performance is enhancing along with the increase of SiO2 content. Fire clay brick has definite erosion resistance to acid slag but weak resistance to alkaline slag. Therefore fireclay brick is suitable for the lining of the furnace with acid slag.
